Home² in Hamburg 2020

On January 24th–26th, 2020, the porcelain light objects of CORDULA KAFKA illuminated the living cube “Kitchen” —one of five theme cubes of the special exhibition “Living with Light” of home², the fair for Real Estate, Building & Modernization, in Hamburg.

The Voo chandelier formed the center of the presentation, next to the Twist Pendulum, Trou wall lamps and the porcelain wall picture Daylight. Curators of the special „Wohnen mit Licht“ (Living with Light) were lighting designer, Ulrike Brandi, and architect, Verena Onnen.

Light Middle East 2019—Voo & Leaves off to the City of Gold

We’re very thrilled to partake—and to invite you to visit
our booth at the Light Middle East fair in Dubai/UAE!

From the 15th to 17th of October 2019 the 14th edition of the most important trade fair for lighting design and technology in the Middle East, organized annually by Messe Frankfurt, takes place in the Dubai World Trade Centre

Our first time taking part, we’ll be presenting our porcelain light objects to the esteemed trade-public of Dubai and the Middle East. Our exhibit offers a closer look at our lights with their exquisite material quality, and translucent beauty.

Our stand is part of the German Pavilion, the official German joint stand, representing the “Made in Germany” brand. Most of the companies exhibiting there produce their products in Germany and thus guarantee the highest quality and outstanding design.

We look forward to new contacts, future partners and joint projects!

Throughout the fair, we’re at your disposal for a personal conversation. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to arrange an appointment with us in advance, to ensure we make time for you.

You will find Cordula Kafka – Light and Porcelain in the German Pavilion, Hall 3/4, Stand 3 H28.

Leaves and Voo at Direktorenhaus

On May 24th the annual exhibition, Radical Craft opened at Direktorenhaus, where two of our lights are installed along with the work of 67 other designers and artistic craftworkers, who show how important artistic craft is today in creating future designs for society.

Should you find yourself in Berlin and looking for a cool indoor space to escape the balming heat—or perhaps one of our many recent thunderstorms—Direktorenhaus is certainly worth the visit!

Tuesday to Friday, 11am – 5pm. No entry fee! (Ring the bell at front door) More info here.

Sous Le Ciel de Paris

Few cities can pull of an architectural mix of old and new quite like Paris. But, just like your stereotypical Parisian who tends to ooze sensuality and style in that nonchalant way that only they can—the city effortlessly presents the sleekest in contemporary architecture alongside its Gallo-Roman, Romanesque, Baroque and Renaissance masterpieces.

In an equally fluent manner, gallerist Xavier Delesalle of Gallery Delesalle curated and exhibited a selection of our lighting objects, VOO, LEAVES, TROU and DAYLIGHT, alongside his acclaimed collection of lighting objects from the 18th to 20th Century, as well as the work of artist Nour Awada. And not surprisingly, that famous French flair made the whole exhibition shine!

We were thrilled to on display parallel with the Maison & Objet fair, January 18–22, and will remain with a few objects in Paris until further notice, so if you find yourself in Paris, feel free to step into:

Gallery Delesalle
16 Rue des Saints Pères
75007 Paris,  Saint Germain
daily from 10–12am and  2–7pm

Enchanté!
